A Registered Psychologist holds a minimum of four years of university education and supervised practice. They are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and are qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health issues. They can provide services under a GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and other Medicare items.
