COVID-19 Update
Clients please read this important message:
Queensgate Psychology Centre aims to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection to both staff and clients and has implemented the following procedures.
​
If you are a close contact or confirmed case of COVID-19 and required to isolate in accordance with WA Government requirements, or are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms you must not enter Queensgate Psychology premises and seek medical attention and advice. Queensgate Psychology Centre offers Telehealth consultations for existing patients.

In-Person Consultations
On entering the premises, please use supplied hand sanitizer or your own. Do the same when leaving the premises. Our waiting room is a safe environment for all our clients however if you prefer to wait in your car please notify reception using the above procedure.
Queensgate Psychology Centre cleaning policies
The waiting room and toilets are sprayed and wiped down with antibacterial spray every hour. Psychologists are wiping all desks and couches with antibacterial spray after every patient.

COVID-19 Telehealth Consultations
Queensgate Psychology Centre is now able to provide telehealth consultations to eligible Clients. Please call our reception team to book your appointment on 6102 6662.
Medicare rebates will be paid for services provided to:
-
Clients that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 virus but who are not a patient of a hospital; or
-
Clients that are isolating themselves in quarantine in accordance with home isolation guidance issued by Australian Health Protection Principal Committee; or
-
Clients considered more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus being:
-
at least 70 years old, or
-
at least 50 years old or over if of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; or
-
pregnant; or
-
a parent of a child under 12 months; or
-
a person under treatment for chronic health conditions or who is immune-compromised; or
-
-
People that meet the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection.
In relation to services for Clients more susceptible to the virus (option 3), they must have had at least one face-to-face attendance in the last 12 months with a Queensgate Psychology Centre Psychologist.
